Desserts

There are a huge range of desserts that are easy to swallow and high in calories, which make them a perfect meal, even if you can't manage to eat much else.

To add extra calories serve desserts with yoghurt and honey, cream, fromage frais, Greek yoghurt, clotted cream, custard, ice cream, grated chocolate or crushed meringues.

Different supermarkets do a wide variety of mousses, yoghurts, crème caramels and creamy desserts. It is worth rotating where you or your carer shops, to increase the variety of desserts you have to eat.

The following desserts may give you ideas of some to make up on your own.
