Tuna in Tomato with Garlic

Serves 4

    Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 200 g canned tuna, drained
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried

    Instructions

  1. Place onion and oil in pan over medium heat and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until onion is soft.
  2. Add tomato puree and garlic.
  3. Mix in tuna and season with oregano. Cook over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes.
  4. Cool, then blend sauce in food processor until desired consistency.
  5. Reheat to serve.
