Welcome!
Eating is such a normal part of everyday life that you take it for granted until you are unable to, whether this is due to illness, dental work or advancing years. Even the smallest meals can be exhausting, painful and difficult to eat.
It can be very hard having to live on the same food and just because you can't chew or swallow doesn't mean you don't want to enjoy your food. Most recipes for easy to swallow foods are designed for young children, which for an adult with mature taste buds can be very frustrating. This is why I have set up this web site to gather together tasty, easy to swallow recipes all in one place. The recipes have been donated by some of the top chefs from around the world: Antony Worral Thompson, David Jenkins, Fern Briton, Graham Kerr aka the Galloping Gourmet, Mary Berry, Nick Nairn, Nigella Lawson, Phil Vickery, Raymond Blanc, Richard Hughes, Sophie Grigson and also people on several different message boards. The recipes cover everything from soups to smoothies; but they are just a starting point, they can be adapted for specific requirements. Try to be creative and most importantly find ways to enjoy your food. |
